MILLERSBURG — F. June Harris, 90, of Millersburg, formerly of Dornsife, passed away on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at the Manor at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg.
She was born June 7, 1922, in Little Mahanoy Township, a daughter of the late Ira and Tamar (Long) Long. She lived most of her life in Little Mahanoy Township. On July 7, 1940, in Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Hunter Station, she married Daniel J. Harris who preceded her in death on June 1, 2008.
June attended Raker School in Hunter Station.
She was a homemaker and a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Hunter Station.
June enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and James Lebo, of Halifax, Peggy and Edward Berra, of Harrisburg, and Darlene and Scott Newman, of Selinsgrove; three sons and daughters-in-law, Calvin and Roseanne Harris, of Shamokin, Daniel Jr. “Jerry” and Linda Harris and Eugene Sr. and Deb Harris, all of Dornsife; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Kristopher and Lana Harris; one great-grandchild, Brycen Buriak; four brothers, Charles, Boyd, Calvin and William Long; and four sisters, Maude Kerstetter, Lena Lenig, Edna Schwalm and Mae Ellis.
A viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Robert G. Foust Jr. Funeral Home, 841 W. Shamokin St., Trevorton, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Hunter Station, followed by the funeral at 11 with the Rev. Glen B. Keidel Jr., officiating.
Burial will be in Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
