Pauline A. Leitzel, 92, Middleburg

MIDDLEBURG — Pauline A. Leitzel, 92, of Grand Street, passed away at 5:31 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at the Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove.

She was born Feb. 27, 1920, in Middlecreek Township, Snyder County, a daughter of the late Joel P. and Emma Jane (Paige) Leitzel.

Pauline retired in 1985 after 28 years of service at Blough and Wagner Manufacturing, Middleburg.

She had recently been attending St. Peter’s Independent Bible Church, Beavertown.

Pauline was an immaculate housekeeper and enjoyed puzzles, gardening, attending carnivals and dining out.

She is survived by four nephews; six second generation of nieces and nephews; and five third generation of nieces and nephews; and one sister-in-law, Phyllis Leitzel, of Middleburg.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Bertha Leitzel, Katie Heintzelman, and Helen Leitzel; and one brother, Grant Leitzel; brother-in-law, D. Norman Heintzelman; and one niece and one nephew.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg, followed by the funeral at 11 with the Rev. Alvin E. Smith officiating.

Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery, Middleburg.
