WATSONTOWN — Michael Wayne Baker, 41, passed away Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at Geisinger Medical Center. He resided in Watsontown with his mother and step father.

Born Feb. 16, 1971, in Lewisburg, he was the son and step-son of Sharon (Valiquette) and Mark Byers, of Watsontown, and the son of Barry Baker, of Selinsgrove.

He enjoyed his job building valves in the shop at Oil States, Watsontown.

He was a certified welder and enjoyed welding.

Mike grew up riding dirt bikes and playing baseball. He was a man full of life, loved Harleys, outside concerts, camping, hunting, fishing, and appreciated sunsets and flowers. His favorite saying was “Let’s do this”.

Surviving in addition to his mother and stepfather, and father, are his father’s companion, Cassey; two daughters, Samantha Baker, of Milton and Hailey; three brothers, Justin Holmes, of White Deer, Brian Shiffer, of York, and Jeremy Baker, of Milton; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces; and also his companion, Nikki Tubbs.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Brooks Funeral Home, 124 Main St., Watsontown with Pastor Dan Cale of the Evangelical Friends Church, Hughesville, officiating.
