David M. Besek, 58, Middleburg

MIDDLEBURG — David M. Besek, 58, of Gravel Road, passed away at 12:53 a.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

He was born April 1, 1954, in Coaldale, a son of Anna M. (Fuller) Besek, of Selinsgrove, and the late John B. Besek.

David was a supervisor at Middleburg Yarn and a 1972 graduate of Selinsgrove High School.

He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Selinsgrove.

David enjoyed the outdoors, especially barbecues, bicycling, and gardening.

Surviving in addition to his mother is one daughter, Christine Besek, of Danville; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, John and Susan Besek, of Chula Vista, Calif., Frank Besek, of Sunbury, and Gerard and Joan Besek, of Elysburg; and eight nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Jennifer Besek.

Friends and family will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Selinsgrove, followed by a mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Daniel Powell as celebrant.

Burial will be in Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbury.

Arrangements by the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove.
