Leah I. Long, 76, Millersburg

— MILLERSBURG — Leah I. Long, 76, of 990 Medical Road, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2012, at the Manor at Susquehanna Village.

She was born July 18, 1936, in Herndon, a daughter of the late Willie L. and Mamie S. (Adams) Rebuck. She was married to Kenneth C. Long, who preceded her in death.

Leah was a retired branch manager for First Federal Savings and Loan.

She was a member of Himmel’s Church, Order of Eastern Star, Astro Chapter 380, Mechanicsburg, Daughters of the Nile, Bethany Shrine No. 7, Willard Waterman Council No. 54, Zembo Shrine Legion of Honor Zee Legionettes and the Red Hat Society at the Manor at Susquehanna Village. She was a Caring Hearts resident volunteer at the manor.

She is survived by three nieces, Mary Rebuck Peters and Brenda Rebuck Leitzel, both of Elizabethville, and Martha Feger, of Dauphin; two nephews, Gene Snyder, of Dalmatia, and James Snyder, of Herndon; 11 great-nieces; 10 great-nephews; several great-great-nieces and nephews; and four great-great-great-nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, with an Order of Eastern Star service at 10:45, at Himmel’s Church, Rebuck, followed by the funeral at 11.

Burial will follow in Himmel’s Church Cemetery, Rebuck.

Donations in Leah’s memory may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 3551 N. Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19140, or to Hospice of Central Pennsylvania, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
