SELINSGROVE — Toisie K. Boellhoff, 85, of Mill Street, formerly of Toano, Va., passed away Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at the Sunbury Community Hospital.
She was born April 25, 1927, near New Berlin, a daughter of the late Frank and Toisie (Leitzel) Kramer. She was married to Lawrence Boellhoff, who survives.
Toisie was a graduate of Lewisburg High School and was a retired bookkeeper for numerous Radio Shack stores.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
Mrs. Boellhoff traveled around the world with her Army husband, Capt. Lawrence Boelhoff. She also enjoyed watching western movies, was a very good cook, and was an avid Redskins fan.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of 56 years, are numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved cat, “Sammy.”
She was preceded in death by nine sisters, Wilma Walter, of Middleburg, Marjorie Weller, of Lewisburg, Evelyn Fox, of Hartelton, Beryl Shingara, of Sunbury, Ruth Turner, of Lewisburg, Justine Frey, of Lewisburg, Shirley Plotts, of Milton, Eleanor Benton, of Hawthorne, Fla., and Dolly Kramer, of New Berlin.
Visitors may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at The V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove, followed by the funeral at 2 with her nephew Mark L. Giesen as eulogist.
Burial will be in Orchard Hills Cemetery, Shamokin Dam.
