Eva B. Britt, 94, Selinsgrove

SELINSGROVE — Eva B. Britt, 94, of Selinsgrove, passed away Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at the Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove.

A native of Selinsgrove, she was the daughter of the late Foster W. and Sarah R. (Boyer) Hollenbach. Eva lived the last 50 years of her life in New Castle, Del.

Eva was employed by Sears until the age of 88.

She was a faithful member of Asbury United Methodist Church.

Eva was an avid bowler, and enjoyed traveling with her many friends from Bowlerama.

She is survived by her grandson and his wife, Jim and Anne Foltz and their sons, Steven and Brian, of Bear, Del.; her daughter, Jean E. Foltz; granddaughter, Samantha Foltz, of Texas; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Britt; grandson, John Foltz; six brothers, Ernest, Ammon, Art, Guy, Earl, and Raymond Hollenbach; and three sisters, Della Hollenbach, Florence Bingaman and Alverda Kratzer.

Family and friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Salem Lutheran Church, Salem Church Road, Selinsgrove, followed by the funeral at 11 with the Rev. Amanda Range officiating.

Burial will be in Salem Lutheran Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Eva’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 15120, Checago, IL 60693.

Arrangements are by the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove.
