Annie M. Martin, 82, Selinsgrove

SELINSGROVE — Annie M. Martin, 82, of Selinsgrove, passed away on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at her home.

Annie was born Feb. 23, 1930, in New Holland, Earl Township, Lancaster County, a daughter of the late Daniel W. and Mary W. (Burkhart) Martin. She was the wife of Norman S. Martin, who preceded her on Jan. 31, 2011.

She was a member of Stauffer’s Old Order Mennonite Church, Port Trevorton.

Annie is survived by her 11 children, Daniel and Anita Martin, of Tennessee, Ella Martin and Mary Martin, both of Selinsgrove, Isaac and Lori Martin, of McClure, Eva Soder, of Port Trevorton, Susie and Michael Coltharp and Alice VanRyan, all of Mississippi, Weaver and Lori Martin, of Selinsgrove, Anna and Glenn Weaver, of Mount Pleasant Mills, Reuben Martin and Rebecca and John Margel, all of Selinsgrove; 21 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two brothers and sisters-in-law, George and Anna Martin, of Selinsgrove, and Henry and Elizabeth “Lizzie” Martin, of Lancaster; and one sister, Katie Martin, of Lancaster.

Annie was preceded by one sister and two brothers-in-law, Hettie and Ivan Sensenig and Walter Martin.

The family will receive friends for the viewing from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday in the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Weaver and Lori Martin, 354 Produce Road, Selinsgrove, followed by the funeral at noon Monday. Further services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Stauffer’s Old Order Mennonite Church, Produce Road, Port Trevorton.

Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.

The George P. Garman Funeral Homes Inc., 9366 Route 35, Mount Pleasant Mills, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
