Nancy N. Reed, 86, Selinsgrove

SELINSGROVE — Nancy N. Reed, 86, of Selinsgrove, formerly of 130 S. Front St., Sunbury, went home with her new glorified body to be with Jesus and her husband, Howard Z. Reed, who preceded her March 15, 2006, on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013. She was a resident at the Manor of Penn Village.

She was born March 11, 1926, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Frank and Mildred (Cotner) Harrison.

Nancy was committed to her Lord and Savior, family and husband of 62 years. She was an avid reader, mighty prayer warrior, cooking and baking for her family and a passion for Jesus and his word.

She is survived by one daughter, Millie Lewis, of Sunbury; one son and daughter-in-law, Charles W. and Paula Reed, of Selinsgrove; three grandchildren, Todd B. Lewis, of Lancaster, Jeffrey C. Lewis, of Sunbury, Jennifer White and husband, Brian, of Sunbury; eight great-grandchildren, Todd Lewis and wife, Emily Lewis, of Baltimore, Lindsey Lewis, of King of Prussia, Erin, Kyra and Jillian White, of Sunbury, and Madison, Holden and Cole Lewis, of Sunbury; one sister, Fran Underkoffler, of Maryland; and one sister-in-law, Helen Rowe, of Sunbury.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son-in-law, Todd B. Lewis; one sister, Peggy Rohrbach; and one brother, Herb Harrison.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the David T. Zweier Funeral Home, Inc., 157 Chestnut St., Sunbury, followed by the funeral at 11 with Pastor Alan Tucker from Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, Lewisburg, officiating.

Interment will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nancy’s memory may be made to the Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, 205 Bull Run Crossing, Lewisburg, PA 17831.
