Judith A. Confer, 71, Millmont

MILLMONT — Judith A. Confer, 71, of Rolling Hills Manor, passed away at 10:55 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

She was born June 4, 1941, in Altoona, the daughter of the late Paul and Kathleen (Beasum) Saylor. On April 11, 1970, she married John C. Confer, who preceded her in death on Dec. 6, 2009.

Judith was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School.

She previously was employed as a nurse at Dubois Hospital and later at Dauphin Manor Nursing Home.

Judith enjoyed doing ceramics and painting.

She is survived by one son, Larry Confer, of Elizabethtown; three daughters and one son-in-law, Valeria and Mike Walter, of Kreamer, Heather Reich, of Middleburg, and Sherri Lehmier, of Danville; five grandchildren, Amanda Bunnell, Jamie Brown, Joshua Mayhew, Bill Morgan and Adam Lehmier; and one brother, Richard Saylor.

She was preceded in death by one son, William Wendt, and one brother, Robert Saylor.

At Judith’s request, there will be no services.

Arrangements are by the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove.
