Marie L. Merchant, 40, Beverly, W.Va.

BEVERLY, W.Va. — Marie Lynn “The Shrink” (Russell) Merchant, 40, of Beverly, passed away Wednesday morning, Oct. 24, 2012, at her home. Death was unexpected and attributed to a massive cardiac arrest.

She was born Feb. 4, 1972, in Glen Falls, N.Y., a daughter of Nancy Ann Russell Short and the late John R. Russell. Surviving in addition to her mother, are her husband, Robby Lee Merchant; children, Vinson Russell, Darius Merchant, and Nicolette Bergerstock; brother, Daniel James Russell, and step-father, Charles Scott Short.

A time of visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, followed by a memorial service at 1 at Christ Wesleyan Church, Milton.

Memorial contributions to help defray funeral expenses can be sent to Nancy A. Short, 98 Park Dr., New Columbia, PA 17856.
