Neal H. Wynn, 64, Paxinos

— PAXINOS — Neal H. Wynn, 64, of 1032 W. Mountian Road, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at the Sunbury Community Hospital.

He was born Dec. 8, 1947, in West Cameron, a son of Betty (Adams) Wynn, of Paxinos, and the late Earl Wynn.

He was a 1965 graduate of Sunbury High School.

Neal was a mechanic and was formerly employed by Sunbury Motor Co., H.C. Boyer Chevrolet and Montgomery Ward.

He was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Hunter’s Station, a member of the Americus Hose Co., the Friendship Hose Company, and the Eagles Lodge, all of Sunbury.

Neal enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Shelly D. Wynn, of Trevorton, and Lisa A. and Christopher Koons, of Paxinos; two grandchildren, Colby Wynn and Carissa Koons; one sister, Judy A. Wynn, of Paxinos; an uncle, Mark Wynn and his wife Sandy, of Sunbury; and his former wife, Sonja Wynn, of Sunbury.

Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury, followed by the funeral at 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Burial will be in the Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.

In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make donations to the charity of their choice.
