Russell E. Dennis, Lewisburg

LEWISBURG — Russell E. Dennis, of Lewisburg, passed away on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, in his home after a sudden and very brief encounter with cancer.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Cathy J. Dennis, and his daughter, Nicole L. Dennis, of Lewisburg.

In 1969, Russell joined the education department at Bucknell University, Lewisburg, where he taught until his retirement in 2012 after 41 years of teaching.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell E. and Ruth Dennis, and his stepfather, James A. Muffly.

As per his request, there were no services.

Flowers were provided by the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
