Patricia A. Sechrist, 69, Selinsgrove

SELINSGROVE — Patricia Ann Sechrist, 69, of Alice Circle, passed away at 1:32 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born April 14, 1943, in Selinsgrove, a daughter of the late John Robert and Dorothy E. (Diemer) Sechrist.

Patricia attended Selinsgrove schools.

She had been employed in the food service and housekeeping departments at Susquehanna University.

A woman of strong faith, she was a member of Sharon Lutheran Church, Selinsgrove.

Patricia was a godsend to her parents as she cared for them in their later years. Pat loved cats and collected swans. She found joy in attending flea markets and shopping, going to movies, dining out and traveling.

She is survived by her sister, Linda S. Kopenhaver, of Selinsgrove; one brother and sister-in-law, John R. Jr. and Cathy Sechrist, of Gilbertsville; two nieces, Angie Felts and husband Todd, of Parker, Colo., and Korey Castillo and husband David, of San Diego, Calif.; and three great-nephews, Anthony Felts and Nickolaus and Alec Viater.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Sharon Lutheran Church, Selinsgrove, followed by the funeral at 11 with the Rev. Robert Doll and the Rev. Jesse Bingaman officiating.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Selinsgrove.

Arrangements are by the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove.
