Shirley Ann Wolfe, 66, Salem, Ohio

SALEM, Ohio — Shirley Ann Wolfe, 66, of Salem, passed away Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at Salem Community Hospital.

She was born Oct. 2, 1946, in Turbotville, Pa., a daughter of Grace (Plotts) Menges, of Milton, Pa., and the late Clare Menges. On Nov. 12, 1967, she married Robert E. Wolfe, who survives.

Shirley was a graduate of Warrior Run High School.

She was employed for 16 years by Lowe’s Home Improvement in Boardman, Ohio, and previously was a beautician. Shirley and her husband operated Shirley’s Creations, and she enjoyed knitting, crocheting and embroidering.

She was a member of the Professional Towers of Ohio, a past worthy matron of Order of Eastern Star in Lewisburg, Pa., and was a Methodist.

In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by one son, Denvius Wolfe, of Salem; one daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Bryan Campbell, of Rhome, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Sue Menges, of Stratford, Okla.; her twin sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Jerry Smith, of Milton; and three grandchildren, Joshua Campbell, Tyler Campbell and Shelby Wolfe.

She was preceded in death by one son, Eugene Wolfe, and one brother, Roger Menges.

A visitation will be held Monday at the Stark Memorial Funeral Home in Ohio.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Brooks Funeral Home, 207 Broadway St., Turbotville, where the funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
