Linda F. Lawton, 56, Coal Township

COAL TOWNSHIP — Linda F. Lawton, 56, of Coal Township, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born May 16, 1956, in Lewisburg, a daughter of Gary High, of Lewisburg, and the late Marcia (Horrox) High. On Dec. 23, 1989, she married Ray Lawton.

Linda was employed at Frosty Valley Country Club in Danville as a landscaper for many years.

In addition to her father, she is survived by one son, Sean Dawson, of Delaware; one daughter, Roberta Lebo, of Maryland; three grandchildren; three brothers and one sister-in-law, David and Bonnie High, of Coal Township, Keith High, of Bloomsburg, and Robert Smith, of Lykens; one sister and brother-in-law, Luann and Mark Shellenberger, of Millville; her stepmother, Betty High, of Lewisburg; aunt, Vicki Archey and her husband, Michael, of Cresson; and her best friend, Sue Martz, of Sunbury.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by one brother, Kevin High; and one sister, Patty Rake.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
