McCLURE — Helen W. Krick, 93, of Burnham, formerly of McClure, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at Golden Living William Penn Nursing Home, Lewistown.
She was born on Oct. 31, 1919, in Beaver Springs, a daughter of the late Irvin S. and Rachel J. (Boonie) Wagner. On March 19, 1938, she married John M. Krick, who preceded her in death on May 24, 2006.
Mrs. Krick attended the Beaver Springs school.
After school, Helen was employed by the shirt factory in McClure and later retired from the Arrow Shirt Co. in Lewistown.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, McClure.
Mrs. Krick also was a member of the Women of the Moose in Lewistown, the American Legion auxiliary, McClure, the Mifflin County 4-H, Mifflin County Homemakers Association, Beaver Fair Organization and the Derry Township Senior Citizens.
Helen was very well known for her needlework and her cooking.
Mrs. Krick was the last of her immediate family. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara J. and Lewis E. Russler, of Burnham; two grandsons and their spouses, Dennis and Donna Russler, of Lewistown, and Dwayne and Tamara Russler, of Centreville, Va.; one great-granddaughter, Rylee Russler; and one stepgreat-grandson, Chad Guy.
Helen was preceded in death, in addition to her parents and husband, by one brother, Stoy Wagner, and one sister, Frona Knepp.
Friends and family will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, McClure, where the funeral will follow at 11 with Pastor Lisa Schuster officiating.
Burial will follow in McClure Union Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the Pheasant Funeral Home, 316 W. Market St., Beavertown.
