Gary L. Swartzlander, 61, Duncannon

DUNCANNON — Gary Lee Swartzlander, 61, of Duncannon, formerly of Mifflinburg, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at Harrisburg Hospital.

Gary was born Dec. 11, 1951, in Lewisburg, a son of the late Charles and Helen Swartzlander. He was married to the former Kalua Darlene Maxwell, who survives.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Shane Swartzlander; two brothers, Harold and Robert Swartzlander; two sisters, Rosella Hoffman and Renee Sherwood; and one granddaughter, Braedyn Swartzlander. Gary was the beloved uncle of his nieces and nephews.

Gary was preceded in death by three brothers, Donnie, Butch and Neil Swartzlander, and two sisters, Katherine Benlishia and Eleanor Smith.

A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Ronald C.L. Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, followed by the funeral at 11.

Burial will follow in Union Cemetery.
