LIVERPOOL — Debra L. “Deb” Emery, 56, of Liverpool, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, in the emergency room at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born Sept. 10, 1956, in Sunbury, a daughter of Elaine (Reichenbach) Yetter, of Meiserville and the late Earl Yetter. On Nov. 23, 1975, she married Ronald E. Emery who survives. Her passing breaks a loving marital union of 37 years.
Debra was a member of the Liverpool American Legion, Post 364.
She enjoyed puzzles and reading. Debra especially enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter and family.
In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Terry Arnold, of Liverpool; one granddaughter, Haley Arnold; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandy and Steve Chubb, and Lori and Lyle Brouse; two brothers, Roy Yetter and Brian Yetter; many nieces and nephews; and her father-in-law, Glen Emery, of Liverpool.
Debra was preceded by her mother-in-law, Erma J. Emery.
There will be no viewing. Services and burial will be private.
Should friends desire, memorial gifts may be made in loving memory of Debra to the American Cancer Society, Central Susquehanna Unit, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
The George P. Garman Funeral Homes, Inc., 9366 Route 35, P.O. Box 65, Mount Pleasant Mills is assisting the family with the arrangements.
