Carol S. Varner, 63, Selinsgrove

SELINSGROVE — Carol S. Varner, 63, of North Eighth Street, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at her home.

She was born July 16, 1949, in Sunbury, a daughter of Frances E. (Connelly) Varner, of Selinsgrove and the late John F. Varner.

Carol was a 1967 graduate of Selinsgrove High School.

She worked as a teller for NCB Bank.

Carol was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Selinsgrove.

In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting and traveling.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel at the Manor at Penn Village with the Rev. Dietmar Plajer officiating.

Carol was buried in Orchard Hills Cemetery, Shamokin Dam.

Arrangements are by the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove.
