Virginia Keisling, 82, Mechanicsburg

MECHANICSBURG — Virginia Keisling, 82, of Mechanicsburg, formerly of Millerstown, entered into rest on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at the Emeritus at Creekview, Mechanicsburg.

She was born July 8, 1930, in Juniata County, a daughter of the late Clarence and Emma (Feltman) Schrader. She was married to Donald R. “Donnie” Keisling, who preceded her on Nov. 15, 2006.

Virginia enjoyed flower gardening and camping.

She is survived by her son, Larry D. Keisling, of Fort Myers, Fla.; two grandchildren, Sean L. Keisling and his wife, Shannon, of Boiling Springs, and Holly R. Wagner and her husband, Carl, of Enola; one great-granddaughter, Lyra J. Keisling; one brother and seven sisters, Palmer Schrader and wife Judy, of Millerstown, Ruth Swartz, of Mount Pleasant Mills, Louella Shellenberger, of Missoula, Mont., Joyce Boyer, of McAlisterville, Phyllis Reininger, of Mifflintown, Mary Campbell, of Loysville, and husband Clyde, Margaret Rollason, of Elliotsburg, and Susan Gardner and husband David, of Lebanon; and many nieces and nephews.

Virginia was preceded by one daughter-in-law, Jeanne Ann Keisling, on Jan. 22, 2001; two brothers, Calvin and James Schrader; and one sister, Gloria Fosselman.

Friends and family are invited to the visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the George P. Garman Funeral Homes Inc., 606 N. Front St., Liverpool, followed by the funeral at 11 with Pastor Brittin Steimling officiating.

Burial will be in St. Peter’s UCC Cemetery, Millerstown.
