Rosemary S. Nagle, 87, Marlton, N.J.

MARLTON, N.J. — Rosemary S. Nagle, 87, formerly of Lewisburg, Pa., and most recently of Marlton, N.J., passed away Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, in Marlton.

 She was born in Washington, D.C., on August 3, 1925, to the late John Dominick and Josephine (Nardiello) Scopi.  On Sept. 8, 1951, she married Harry A. Nagle Jr. of Shamokin, Pa., who predeceased her in 2010.

 Rosemary graduated in 1947 from Trinity College in Washington, D.C., with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. She worked for the Central Intelligence Agency for five years prior to marriage.  A devoted wife to her husband, Rosemary was also a tireless homemaker and mother.

 She was also an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lewisburg, and the Susquehanna Valley Chorale.

 She is survived by two children and their families: son, Harry A. Nagle III and wife Yi Hsin and their daughter, Melody Ann Nagle, of North Plainfield, N.J.; and daughter, Rosemarie Colon (Nagle) and her husband Andres, and their son, Joshua Colon, of Cherry Hill, N.J.

 Friends and relatives will be received from 7 to 9 Thursday at the John H. Shaw III Funeral Home, Market and 8th streets, Lewisburg,  where the Rosary will be recited at 8:30 and Friday morning from 9:15-10:15. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Sacred Heart Church Lewisburg with the Rev Msgr William M. Richardson as celebrant.  

Burial will follow in the St. Edward’s Cemetery, Shamokin, Pa.
