Alumni Association Scholarships
MILTON — The Milton High School Alumni Association Scholarship applications are now available. Six $1,000 scholarships are available to students pursuing college or post-secondary schools and will be awarded primarily on financial need.

State Board of Ed vote puts Common Core Standards in place for schools
HARRISBURG – The State Board of Education today voted to adopt final-form regulations to amend the Pennsylvania Education Code, putting into place the Pennsylvania Common Core Standards that requires students to demonstrate proficiency on a Keystone Exam or comparable exam in order to graduate high school.

MILTON — For the past several years, select students in grades three through eight at Meadowbrook Christian School have participated in the ACSI District Geography Bee with other Christian schools from Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia.

Mustang revs up excitement for Milton Relay for Life
MILTON — Starting next month, Pat Grell will be busy. The Milton Relay for Life publicity chairwoman and coordinator of the six-county Drive Out Cancer fundraiser will be driving a 2002 Ford Mustang, donated by Selinsgrove Ford for the fundraiser, to events each weekend while getting ready for Milton’s Relay event in June.
