MIFFLINBURG —
MHRA’s Mifflinburg MayFest will be held 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 18 in the historic district in Mifflinburg. Artists and craftspeople are invited to participate in the event; priority is given to those with hand-crafted works for sale.
In addition to the food, art and craft vendors, entertainment and Maypole, there will be a Wine Festival featuring nine wineries: Bastress Mountain, Shade Mountain, Red Shale, Armstrong, Naylor, Sandcastle, Seven Mountains, Benigna’s Creek and West Hanover. This is a ticketed event.
Additionally, there will be plein air artists working whose art will be on display and for sale at the Elias Center for the Performing Arts. That afternoon will be a special family concert featuring Grammy Award-winning children’s book and music author Barry Louis Polisar.
