MIDDLEBURG -- Midd-West Middle School recognizes two students each month (one from each grade) for their outstanding achievement in the classroom and their leadership qualities. The sixth grade recipient of the Student of the Month award for January is Cade Crossgrove, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Crossgrove, of Middleburg. The January Student of the Month for seventh grade is Chloe Lantz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Huey Lantz, of Beavertown.
Kyle Camp, sixth grade, and Zachary Umstead, seventh grade, are the Perfect Attendance Award recipients for December. Kyle is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Camp, of Beavertown. Zachary is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Umstead, of Paxtonville .
There are four Mustang PRIDE Award winners selected each month. For the month of January, Andrew Alton and Kent Parker are the sixth grade recipients. Andrew is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alan Alton, of Penns Creek. Kent is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jason Parker, of Mount Pleasant Mills. Calley Taylor and Ethan Richard are the seventh grades recipients. Calley is the daughter of Erin Taylor, of Middleburg. Ethan is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Richard, of Middleburg. Students who are recognized for positive contributions to the middle school are individually rewarded with a Mustang Medallion and are eligible for the end of the month drawing.
