SUN Tech Students Take Top Honors at AWS Competition

NEW BERLIN — Robert Girvin, James Fetterolf, Andrew Martin, Dalton Brown, and Joshua Moore are students enrolled in the welding program at SUN Area Technical Institute. In early March, they competed in a welding competition sponsored by the American Welding Society (AWS) held at Pennsylvania College of Technology.

Midd-West football association holds registration
The Midd-West Football Association will be holding football and cheerleading registration for the 2013 season at the upcoming youth baseball tournaments. On Saturday, May 11 registration will be held near the concession stand at the Beaver Springs baseball field from 4-6 p.m., and at the Beavertown baseball field on Saturday, May 18 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
