LEWISBURG - Patriot League Men's Basketball Tournament tickets for games to be played at Bucknell's Sojka Pavilion go on sale to the general public Tuesday at 1 p.m. Tickets may be purchased over the phone at 570-577-1000 or by visiting the Weis Center Campus Box Office location.
Bucknell is guaranteed to host a Patriot League Tournament quarterfinal game on Wednesday, March 6 at 7 p.m. at Sojka Pavilion. Should they advance, the Bison are also assured of hosting a semifinal game on Saturday, March. 9 at either 2 p.m. or 4:30 p.m.
The Bison have a two-game lead over both Lehigh and Lafayette in the Patriot League standings with two regular-season games remaining. One more Bucknell victory, or one loss by Lafayette, would give the Bison the outright Patriot League regular-season title for an unprecedented third year in a row. That would mean home-court advantage throughout the Patriot League Tournament, and should the Bison advance that far, they would host the championship game on Wednesday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m.
Patriot League Tournament tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for students, children and senior citizens. Bison Club members will have a chance to purchase tickets in a special presale on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until noon. Now 23-5 overall and 10-2 in the Patriot League, Bucknell plays its final regular-season home game on Wednesday at 7 p.m. against American, and then the Bison will visit Navy on Saturday at 7 p.m.
