HARRISBURG -- Love your family doctor? The Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians wants to hear from you as it looks for its 2013 Family Physician of the Year.
Whatever makes your doctor a standout -- answers the phone at all hours, makes house calls, knows your family by name and medical history, gentle with your kids or parents -- tell the academy by March 11. The nominee must be a practicing member of the Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians (most Pennsylvania physicians are members).
To nominate a doctor, go to academy's website pafp.com/TopDoc, read the list of rules and fill out the form. Profiles of past winners can be found on the Family Physician of the Year web page.
