LEWISBURG — The Bucknell Brigade will host its fourth annual raffle and silent auction from 7 to 9 p.m. Feb. 22 in Larison Dining Hall at Bucknell University.
Entertainment throughout the evening will be provided by Bucknell a cappella groups. Hors d’oeuvres will be served.
All proceeds will be used to fund a permanent health clinic that the Brigade has established in the community of Nueva Vida, Nicaragua.
A wide variety of prizes from local businesses, those in destination cities, and nationwide corporations will be available for silent auction, sealed bid, and raffle. This year’s raffle includes six fast lane passes for Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom in Allentown, passes to the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra passes.
In the past, prizes have included timeshares, nights at bed and breakfasts, museum entrances, and gift certificates to local restaurants.
Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for general admission and will be sold at the door or at the Office of Civic Engagement, located in the Bertrand Library at Bucknell.
