LEWISBURG — The Lewisburg Sunset Rotary Club held a planning meeting to finalize plans for the Ice Festival activities on Feb. 2. During the day, the club will sponsor three events including the Second annual frosty 5k. Registrations begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Campus Theater in downtown Lewisburg. Race begins at 10 a.m. For the fifth year, free children’s games in Hufnagle Park sponsored by the club along with their partners from Penn State Extension-Youth Development. Games and activities for family fun will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The fifth annual Frosty Kettle Chili Cook-off goes on inside a warm Purceil’s Irish Pub and Parkview Catering. Yuengling again co-sponsors this event and has lots of great raffle items up for the winners including a snowboard, area lift tickets and much more.
