TURBOTVILLE —
Garrett Moser scored on a quarterback keeper from one yard out with 2:56 left to give Warrior Run a 21-14 win over Wyalusing on Friday as the Defenders picked up their second win in a row.
The Defenders (2-7) came back in late in the fourth quarter on a pass from Moser to Nick Rohm from the 35-yard line as Rohm stretched across the plain as he was being brought down for touchdown to tie the game at 14. Rohm finished the night with three catches for 61 yards and the score as he beat the Rams (1-8) defense.
Derek Keiser helped move the ball down the field in the game-winning drive, as he finished with 97 yards rushing including a touchdown in the first quarter. His partner in the backfield, Mark Blanchard gashed the defense for 178 yards on 24 carries.
