Warrior Run committed five turnoversand caught a bad break in the second quarter when they were still down by just 12 points as Bloomsburg took advantage of the breaks to run away with a 46-7 win on Friday night.
Warrior Run fumbled eight times, losing three of them, and also threw two interceptions. Bloomsburg committed just one turnover, put together four drives of 10 plays or more and dominated the line of scrimmage to outgain the Defenders, 400-210.
The Panthers set the tone for the game in their first possession, as they marched 61 yards in 11 plays, a nine-yard pass from Ricky Klingerman to Colby Klingerman, the first of three touchdown strikes for Ricky Klingerman on the night. Warrior Run answered to go up for the only time in the contest on Nick Rohm’s 35-yard touchdown reception from Garrett Moser with 3:18 left in the first. But the Panthers would end the first quarter on top as their second 61-yard scoring drive of the game, this one in eight plays, ended with Sam Miller’s first of two scoring runs on the evening with :15 left.
