RIVERSIDE — RIVERSIDE – Applications for a full-time police officer can be picked up at Riverside’s borough council office starting Monday, Feb. 25, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Completed applications must be turned into the office building, located at 301 Dewart Street, by March 25 at 3 p.m.
Applicants must have reached their 21st birthday and be properly certified before that date. The starting salary for the position is $32,240.
A written portion of the test is scheduled for April 9 at 6 p.m. at St. Peter’s United Church at 240 Sunbury Road, Riverside. The test also includes mandatory assessments such as an oral exam, background check, credit check, physical agility examination, medical examination and psychological examination.
