SUNBURY — The Veterans Memorial Bridge between Sunbury and Shamokin Dam was closed Tuesday at about 8 p.m. as state police at Stonington were investigating a two-vehicle accident that involved a fatality, according to a source close to the case. Details of the accident were unavailable at midnight.
The state Department of Transportation estimated that the bridge would be closed until 7 a.m. Wednesday.
A jury deliberated for three hours on Thursday before finding Robert L. Reich, 37, Christopher J. Aucker, 39, and Ryan C. Sprenkel, 37, not guilty on all charges in the 1997 beating death of Donald E. Seebold.
