Here’s a chance for some really interesting music this afternoon. The Raya Brass Band, from Brooklyn, will play for a dance at the Moose Exchange on Main Street in Bloomsburg from 3-6 p.m., and it’s free. They play eastern European dance music on reeds, trumpet, accordion, tuba and drums, and it sure sounds like fun. I listened to a bit of their music on their web site, and I wish I could be there, just to see and hear what happens.
The Burgess-Mitchell-Seal Trio hosts the Sunday jazz workshop at the Bullfrog Brewery on Fourth Street in Williamsport from noon-4 p.m. Later this evening, Hannah Bingman has a solo stand at Turkey Hill Brewing Co. on Central Road in Bloomsburg from 7-9 p.m.
