MONROEVILLE (AP) — Two people are dead from a head-on traffic crash in southwestern Pennsylvania.
The Westmoreland County coroner's office says an elderly man was declared dead at the scene of Thursday afternoon's crash of a sport utility vehicle and a van on Route 130 in Penn Township. A woman believed to be his wife died at Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville, about 11 miles east of Pittsburgh.
The victims' names weren't immediately released.
