WATSONTOWN -- At a meeting of the Watsontown Lions Club held at the Watson Inn, Austin D. Bower was honored as the Warrior Run High School Student of the Month for December. Austin is a member of the National Honor Society, FBLA, student council, and concert choir. He is captain of the boy’s soccer team, a member of the North Union Soccer Team, is on the Soccer All State Team, and First Team Soccer of PHAC II. He is employed at the Turbotville Great Value store. Upon graduation, Austin plans to attend college and major in finance. He is the son of Tim and Dixie Bower, of Watsontown. Presenting Austin with a certificate, monetary award, and Lions paperweight is Lions President Sharon Cawley.
