SELINSGROVE — The Selinsgrove Area School District kindergarten registration for the 2013-2014 school year will be held on April 9, 12, 17 and 22, by appointment only, at Selinsgrove Area Elementary School.
There will be a Kindergarten Informational meeting on March 25 at Selinsgrove Area Elementary School. Parents who have children with last names beginning with A-M will meet from 6:30-7 p.m. Parents who have children with last names beginning with N-Z will meet from 7:30-8p.m. For those parents who have already completed and returned their packets to Selinsgrove Area Elementary School or bring their packets with them to the meeting, the opportunity to sign up for an appointment will be made available from 7 to 7:30 p.m. and again following the last meeting.
Registration packets have been distributed to many local daycares and preschools. If your child is in a daycare or preschool, ask them about a registration packet if you have not already received one. If you need a packet, call Selinsgrove Area Elementary School at 372-2289.
Students must be 5 on or before Aug. 31 to attend kindergarten. At the time of registration in April, parents will need to bring their child’s birth certificate, immunization record and proof of residency.
