Theatre Harrisburg presents classic suspense thriller

HARRISBURG — Theatre Harrisburg continues its 87th season with a production of the popular suspense thriller “Wait Until Dark” at The Krevsky Production Center. Opening Friday, March 15, other performances are scheduled for March 16-17, 20-24.  

Show times are Wednesday and Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.  All tickets are priced at $25 except March 20, when all seats are only $15. Tickets may be purchased by visiting or calling the Whitaker Center box office at (717) 214-ARTS.

“Wait Until Dark” is the story of what happens when a blind housewife becomes the target of three con-men searching for the heroin hidden in a doll which her husband innocently transported from Canada. The 1967 film adaptation starred Audrey Hepburn, Alan Arkin and Richard Crenna.

“Wait Until Dark” stars Tara Herweg, Jeremy Burkett, Kerry Mowery, Gabi Hemsch, Anthony Ariano, Brandon Rubinic and Robert York.  The production is under the direction of Lewis Silverman.
