LEWISBURG — Susquehanna Valley Chorale’s Children’s Chorus (SVC3) is nearing the completion of a 12-week season of rehearsals that began in late August in Lewisburg. The singers, in grades three to nine, represent Northumberland, Snyder, Union, Lycoming and Bradford counties.
On Nov. 22 at 3 p.m. they will present a concert at First Presbyterian Church, Lewisburg, under the direction of Valerie Flamini Caldwell. This series of rehearsals and concert in Lewisburg follows a very successful season last spring at Susquehanna University. That success prompted a decision to make the program available to as many young musicians as possible in the region by offering it in Lewisburg now and then returning to Selinsgrove. On Dec. 5, auditions will be held for singers in grade three through nine for rehearsals beginning in January at Susquehanna University. Visit www.svcmusic.org for more information.
