Summer is officially over and it¡¦s time to prepare for that seasonal shift inside. Outdoor concerts are winding down. Still, with continued mild temperatures and PA¡¦s spectacular fall foliage just around the corner, the area hasn¡¦t given up fresh-air performances just yet. Catch em while you can!

The King Street Coffeehouse at the Savoy, 221 Front St., Northumberland, opens its season tomorrow, with performances by the Rhoades Band, McSween and Lux Bridge. The doors open at 5:30, and the music begins at 7 p.m. Cover charge is $6. Dinner buffet, desserts, coffee, tea and soft drinks are extra.

Saturday night, Greg Burgess and Beverley Conrad are both at Penn¡¦s Tavern, Route 147 south of Sunbury from 6-9 p.m., with, as they say, music from four centuries. Greg¡¦s on piano and Bev plays fiddle. Call 286-2007 for reservations.

Meanwhile, out at the Elk Creek Cafe and Ale Works on Route 45 in Millheim, Earl Pickens and Family will reprise their recent triumph at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, when they played their countrified version of U2¡¦s ¡§Joshua Tree¡¨ to an astonished audience. The show starts at 8 p.m.

And finally, the final outdoor show of the season at Ye Olde Meeting Place, Route 405 north of Milton, at 8 p.m. Saturday, will feature Bent. There is a $5 cover for this show.

Next Wednesday, the Burgess-Mitchell-Seal Trio will be at the Parkview Banquet Room, on Sixth Street in Lewisburg, just down from the Bull Run Inn, from 6-9 p.m. $5 cover. There is a bar and a dance floor, as well as an extra-cost buffet dinner.
