WILLIAMSPORT — Java, Juice & Art Café will host an exhibition titled, “Summerscapes” for July’s first Friday. It is open from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Café, 125 West Fourth St. The show runs through July 31.
The themed event will consist of original artwork from 26 area artists, all showing one piece. Each is unique in style and media. Artists include: Jessica Heath, Gail Fox, Diane Hollis, Amy King, Fred Gilmour, Cody Short, Damon McCloskey, Holly Hollada, Steve Buggy, Lori Crossley, Marilyn Seeling, Jeremiah Johnson, Ed Jonasen, Chad Andrews, Suz Nelson, Catheal Weiser, Mickey Mapstone, Marcia Strickland, Deb Trate, Terry Wild, Jackie Thomas, Theresa Spitler, Ed Steinhilper, Dick Welde, Michael Worobec, and Mary Farr.
“This is our third year of doing this very popular exhibition, and each year we add new artists to the group. The show will encompass both the Café and Main Gallery spaces. There is a variety of work from modern to traditional with a mix of varying media, including: fiber work, watercolor, oil, pastel, acrylic, mix media, pencil, photography. And there are always a few surprises,” said Mary Farr, curator for the show.
