LEWISBURG —
Lewisburg scored three first-quarter touchdowns on its way to a 51-0 victory over the Warrior Run at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium on Friday night.
A big factor in the Green Dragons (6-1) quick start and overall dominance in the game was the return of guard Jonny Miller and the first time this season Lewisburg’s offensive line had its preseason starting lineup together since Miller went down in the first scrimmage.
“It was definitely a confidence boost to get off to the quick start. We wanted to drive the ball right down the field,” Lewisburg center Kyle Santorine said. “With the line back together, we wanted to pound the ball right at them.”
The Green Dragons certainly did that, averaging 8.9 yards per carry for the game (34 carries, 303 yards).

SELINSGROVE - If the 2012 edition of The Daily Item All-Stars were not a fictional team, the quarterback would find a familiar downfield target.
