WRESTLING
HUGHESVILLE — A pair of Warrior Run wrestlers picked up titles as the Defenders placed third in the District 4 East-West Sectional Tournament on Saturday at Hughesville High School.
Central Columbia took the title with 168.5 points and Benton was second with 150.5. Warrior Run had 142 points.
Winning titles for Warrior Run were Zack LeBarron at 106 pounds and Brian LeBarron at 126. Zack LeBarron decisioned Muncy’s Angelo Barberio, 7-1; and Brian LeBarron decisioned Muncy’s Andy Aguilar, 6-5.
The Defenders also had Garrett Moser finish second at 195, while Brandon Giannantonio (132), Doug McCarty (138) and Dan Breech (170) all won their consolation bouts for Warrior Run.
Former Line Mountain standout Zain Retherford won the 138-pound title; he was among five titleists for Benton. Central had two champions.

ACAA Tournament
Northumberland Christian 54, Great Commission 49
NORTHUMBERLAND — Terah Lee Hayner and Dorothy Ann Reich both set career highs in points scored to lead the Warriors to a victory in the consolation game.
Hayner scored 19 points, while Reich had 14 points plus 15 rebounds and seven blocks for Northumberland Christian (17-10).
Also for the Warriors, Alyssa Wesner was named to the ACAA All-League team. In the consolation game she added 14 points and 11 rebounds.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Greenwood 58, Line Mountain 48
MANDATA — With an injured Bill Breinich sitting on the bench, the Eagles couldn’t keep up with the Wildcats and they faded down the stretch in the Tri-Valley League matchup.
Cole Rickert did all he could in his teammate’s absence by scoring a game-high 26 points for Line Mountain (13-9, 11-5 TVL), with 18 coming on 3-pointers.
The Eagles led by seven at the break, but were outscored by the Wildcats 30-13 in the second half.
Ryan Kerstetter scored 23 points to lead Greenwood (19-3, 16-1), while Adam Harrison and Josh Ferguson added 13 and 12 points apiece for the Wildcats.
Warrior Run 41, Millville 38 (OT)
MILLVILLE — Twelve points from Collin Foresman and 10 from Xavier Ortega helped the Defenders hold on for the nonleague win.
