HERSHEY — Milton senior Ryan Solomon won his second consecutive state wrestling championship Saturday, beating Chartiers-Houston senior Garrett Vulcano, 7-0, in the Class AA 195-pound final Saturday at the Giant Center.
In addition to his two titles, Solomon was also a runner-up and sixth-place finisher in his high school career. He will wrestle at the University of Pittsburgh.
Lewisburg senior Brandon Smith was beaten in the 220-pound final by Saucon Valley's Ray O'Donnell, 2-0. O'Donnell scored a third-period reversal to become Saucon's 11th state champion.
Earlier in the day, Line Mountain's Seth Lansberry dropped a 5-0 decision to former teammate and current Benton senior Zain Retherford in the 138-pound final.
