Danville's doubles team of junior Shannon Sheridan and sophomore Brittany Grubb gave out a lot of love during the 2009 season, and in return the Heartland Athletic Conference gave some back as its coaches selected this year's all-star team.
Sheridan and Grubb were named to the HAC's Division I first team after they went 13-0 on the season for the Ironmen.
The two Danville players were the only representatives from the area to make the first team in either the HAC's Division I or II.
Rounding out the Division I first team were two singles players from Williamsport, Raneem Rajjoub and Taquioa Lee, plus Montoursville's Carolyn Meckbach.
The Division I's other doubles team is Jenna Lorson and Emily Aderhold from Hughesville.
The Division I coach of the year is Williamsport's John Dorner.
In Division II, the first-team singles players are South Williamsport's Maria Cioffi, Muncy's Breanne Phillips and Montgomery's Kazzi Sauers.
The Division II's first doubles teams are Cassie Beck and Myrle Newcomer from Loyalsock, and Sam Hill and Jessica McPhail from Montgomery.
A doubles team from Lewisburg made the HAC's Division II second team, as seniors Maddie Hussar and Elise Buffinton were selected.
The Division II's co-coaches of the year are Montgomery's Craig Weaver and Loyalsock's Rick Zimmerman.
