SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT -- Travis Conrad had another big night for the Green Dragons, leading the way 22 points as Lewisburg picked up a road win.
Conrad drained three 3-pointers in the victory. Erich Kline scored 15 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for the Green Dragons (2-0).
Brock Jones scored in double figures with 16 for the Mounties (1-2).
n Greenwood 52, Newport 22
MILLERSTOWN -- Adam Harrison paced Greenwood with 16 points in a Tri-Valley League victory for the Wildcats. Harrison knocked down two 3-pointers and Josh Ferguson joined Harrison in double figures with 12 for the Wildcats (2-2).
John Criswell led Newport with eight points.
n Northumberland Christian 66,
Watsontown Christian 49
WATSONTOWN -- Daniel Severn found his stroke for Northumberland Christian, scoring with 25 points in Allegheny Christian Athletic Association win.
Nathan York, Ryan King and Gabe Bahner also scored in double figures for Northumberland Christian.
Levi Watts and Barry Wolschlegal scored 20 points each for Watsontown Christian in the loss.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
n Montoursville 37, Milton 12
MILTON -- Montoursville jumped out to an early lead and did not look back to take an easy win in a Heartland Athletic Conference crossover game.
Kirsten O'Malley led the Warriors with 13 points and Carly Mill chipped in 10 points for the Warriors.
Karissa Brown scored six of Milton's 12 points, including a 3-pointer.
n Lourdes Regional 47,
Shikellamy 29
COAL TOWNSHIP -- Lourdes Regional defended its home court to remain unbeaten with an nonleague win.
Rachel Schultz established herself as the go-to option for the Red Raiders (4-0) with 14 points. Sarah Getchey joined Schultz in double digits with 10 points.
Andrea Amerman led the Braves (2-1) with eight points.
WRESTLING
n Shamokin 40, Midd-West 33
MIDDLEBURG -- Pins by Mike Yucha at 195 and Zach Biddiscombe at 285 were the difference in Shamokin's win over the Mustangs.
Yucha pinned Timothy Garverick in 5:18 and Biddiscombe stopped his match at 5:46. Bill Leon also secured a 9-1 major decision at 132.
Alex Lieberman and Zach Longacre won with pins for Midd-West.
