FIELD HOCKEY
ALMEDIA -- Candace Hackenberg scored off a double assist from Jess Whitsel and Audrey Trego with just four seconds remaining in regulation to give Midd-West a dramatic 3-2 victory over Central Columbia in a nonleague matchup Thursday.
Midd-West (1-1) took a 2-1 lead early in the second half behind goals from Katelyn Walter and Brenee Kratzer. Walter assisted on Kratzer's goal along with Adrienne Gesselman.
Central tied the game at 2 on an unassisted goal from Andy McDanel with 7:58 remaining.

Warrior Run 1
TURBOTVILLE -- Bailey Carl got an assist from Mackenna Lupold to score the game-winning goal for the Tigers with 7:18 left in the HAC-II matchup.
Carl also scored in the first half for Southern (2-0, 1-0 HAC-II) off an assist by Katie Varano.
Colby Haas scored unassisted for Warrior Run.

MARYSVILLE -- Four different players scored goals for the Eagles, leading them to the nonleague victory.
Kortnee Schwartz, Chloe Poltonavage, Ciera Lahr and Amanda Klinger tallied the goals for Line Mountain.
GIRLS SOCCER
n Milton 2, Shikellamy 1
SUNBURY -- Second-half goals by Karissa Brown and Lineah Brouse propelled the Black Panthers to the HAC-I victory.
Shikellamy (0-2, 0-1 HAC-I) took a 1-0 lead late in the first half on an unassisted goal from Cheyenne Tumolo.

Mifflnburg 0 (Suspended)
MIFFLINBURG -- The HAC-I matchup between the Defenders and Wildcats was halted by inclement weather 5 minutes into the game. Warrior Run got a goal from Taylor Landis to take an early lead. The game will be completed today at 4 p.m.

LANCASTER -- Landon Sheaffer scored twice and had an assist for the Tigers in the nonleague victory.
Nick Lorenz added a goal and an assist for East Juniata (2-1).
GIRLS TENNIS
n Williamsport 4,
Lewisburg 0
LEWISBURG -- The Millionaires claimed two dominant wins in singles to win the match despite action at No. 2 singles being halted due to lightning. In the No. 2 match Carlie Stockdale was leading Isabel Bauer, 6-3, 4-6, 4-3. Lewisburg (1-5) will complete the match on Sept. 26.
n Danville 4, Selinsgrove 1
SELINSGROVE -- The Ironmen picked up a tiebreak win at No. 1 singles and a three-set win at No. 1 doubles to take the HAC-I victory.
At No. 1 singles, Kiona Robbins beat Hunter Shaffer, 7-6 (5), 6-2. At No. 1 doubles for Danville (4-2), Christina Murphy and Savannah Doss beat Liza Smith and Brittney Auker, 4-6, 6-4, 6-1.
Sara Moyer once again picked up the lone win for Selinsgrove (2-4). She beat Maura Brady, 6-1, 6-0.
GOLF
n HAC-III
MILTON -- Lewisburg inched closer to being atop the division standings by edging leading team Danville by five strokes, 324-329, at Wynding Brook Golf Club.
All four leading golfers for Lewisburg (12-3) shot an 84 or better, with Will Sumfest leading the way with a 75.
Danville (14-1) was led by Austin Renz and Robbie Seebold, who fired a 76 and a 77, respectively.
n Tri-Valley League
MIDDLEBURG -- Adam Winey shot a 74 and Blake Zechman fired a 77 to lead Midd-West to a 331-347 victory over East Juniata at Shade Mountain Golf Course.
Colton Fogelman and Jeremy Pannebaker both carded 74s to lead the Tigers.
