WESTFIELDS, Va. — Westfields Resort was the setting for the ceremony uniting Jennifer Allison Wert and Scott Randall Gillespie in marriage. The Rev. Julie Price officiated the service on Oct. 15, 2011.
The bride is the daughter of Barry and Dr. Barbara Wert, of Winfield, the granddaughter of Harriet Wert, of Northumberland and the great-niece of Grace Wenner, of Northumberland. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher Means, of Williamsburg, Va.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. Best man for the bride was Hamilton J. Maguire, of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and the best man for the bridegroom was Fletcher Means, father of the bridegroom.
A cocktail hour and dinner reception followed at the Westfields Resort Jamestown Ballroom.
The bride is a 1995 graduate of Shikellamy High School and a 2000 graduate of Bloomsburg University. She is employed by Booz Allen Hamilton as an information systems security program officer.
The bridegroom is a 1988 graduate of Monte Vista High School, Watsonville, Calif., and a 1992 graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is employed by K12 as an program director.
Following a honeymoon in Ambergris Cay, Belize, the couple is living in Gainesville, Va.
