SUNBURY —
SELINSGROVE — St. Pius X Church was the setting for the ceremony uniting Marisha S. Marczyk and Brandon J. Knouse in marriage. The Rev. Ted Keating performed the Sept. 17, 2011 ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Sherry Marczyk, of Selinsgrove. The bridegroom is the son of James Knouse, of Mount Pleasant Mills and the late Jean Knouse.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an antique necklace belonging to her great-grandmother. She chose Carla Pierce as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Hoff and Amanda Knouse, sisters of the bridegroom and Kristy Marczyk, sister-in-law of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Lauren Marczyk and flower girl was Madison Marczyk, both nieces of the bride.
Serving as best man was Skip Shellenberger. Groomsmen were Ryan Hoff, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, Darryl martin, Justin Marczyk, brother of the bride, and Andrew Marczyk, nephew of the bride. Ring bearer was Jeffrey Marczyk, nephew of the bride.
Pianist was Katie Erdley and vocalist was Ryan Beddall. Readers were Joseph Marczyk, brother of the bride and Susan Mundt, godmother of the bride.
A reception followed at the VFW in Selinsgrove.
The newlyweds enjoyed a honeymoon to Myrtle Beach, S.C. and are living in Selinsgrove.
